I don't usually rate items, but I bought this set as an upgrade for my 18v Dewalt set and the difference in power is really amazing. Considering it's really only a 2 volt difference, I was really impressed! The led light is incredible and I often have people ask if they can buy it from me :) It really lights up an area and leaves everyone blind and in the dark when you leave... I only wish they had improved on the flexible neck design from the 18v set. I really like the Impact Drill's size. It fits just about anywhere and has really saved me when installing boxes in tight areas. The sawsall cuts though emt, pencil rod, and unistrut easily.I use this set 5-6 days a week, 8-10 hours a day. It's good to get more batteries. I like having a battery for each tool and two charged spares. So buy a four pack of batteries to go with this and you're covered.So, if you're in the market for new tools, these are light weight (way lighter than my 18 volt set), and powerful with long lasting batteries.

The 3 amp 20v lithium is easy to use, lighter than the the 18v, and has superior performance for all of my job needs.

True to the Dewalt brand name, this is a combo set that provides a sturdy set of tools that should be sufficient for most homeowners for repairs and small projects (I have used the set to install screen doors, step railings, and patch some water leakage issues on ceiling). One can easily sense the sturdiness of the tools when you hold them the very first time, the battery seems to be heavier than another common brand driver/drill set I own, but not to a point it can be bothersome. The batteries recharge very quickly (45 min to less than an hour) and hold charge quite well, (though that is dependent on your usage).The real issue is the pricepoint - one may be able to find cheaper combos from the same brand if you can do without a brand name work light and the bag etc. Someone wanting to build a collection maybe better off assembling a portolio of tools as needs emerge - though the total price for that approach may be higher. It will provide the flexibility of mix-and-match for various brands, however. For the current listed price (and rarely goes on sale), it is likely to be a tad too expensive for the average homeowner - but for someone who needs a tool set for regular use the sturdiness of the tools and the brand name will be an obvious appeal.
