Both drivers work well and are a lot of fun to use. I have had a few weeks now and reach for them first before my 18V Dewalt. They are easier to carry around the house, use overhead and in tight spaces. They dont completely replace my heavy duty drill, but they are not inteded to.

For factory refurbished these are excellent quality drills. I tested the standard drill on a door with a painted on door hinge and it worked great at removing the screw and reinstalling it. Good power for most applications and very light weight. Exactly what I wanted in a drill.

These were delivered quickly and, although reconditioned, are as-new quality. The quality is obvious from the first time you open the included tool-bag. These are compact, powerful and the two included batteries charge in 30mins. Either can be used for general screwdriving, one is good for light-duty drilling and for most jobs these have replaced my heavier/bulkier DeWalt cordless drill. They're easier to tote around the house and easier to fit into small places. I just fitted a self-assembly kitchen and these were perfect for that job - handling everything. I liked that the compact impact driver had the torque to drive the screws directly into the studs to hang the wall cabinets. Impressive for such a small, lightweight driver. The impact function really works, but doesn't kick in until the torque is required. High quality, versatilite, relatively inexpensive, lightweight and powerful - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these.
