not the best 28v

thought i was upgrading from a 18v lithium ion to faster 28v longer lasting battery drill. battery does last a long time.power in 1st speed is deecent but very slow. speed 2 strugles with a simple 3/8 drill bit .speed 2&3 slip out of setting. drill is pretty heavy .i feel like i down graded as far as performance.reciprocating saw seems equal to 18v strong but bulky.only plus i would say is batteries last along time .dewalt dcd970kl 18v xrp hammer drill has plenty of power in speed 1&2 drills holes in wood pretty fast, a great drill. battery strong from beggining to end. although battery can discharge in a short time with non stop drilling. most of the time your second battery will be charged and ready to go only drill i could say torque is under rated .used it for 90 days.only returned it because i felt batteries were not lasting long enough plus thought this 28v would perform as well as the 18v i will keep 28v for a spare.milwuakee 28v great drill makes dewalt 28 look like a 12v

The saw zaw broke after 5 months. I am going to contact the manufacturer regarding this. I was very disappointed.
