hammer drill not great

if u drill alot in concrete this is not the best choice. corded drills have better power. the saw seems to be a good cordless tool.

Solid Tools

I ordered this combo set (hammer drill, reciprocating saw, charger, 2 batteries, and carry-bag) for my work. These tools are solid and of quality. Makita continues to uphold their reputation with dependable tools. The combo set saved me quite a bit of money compared to if I ordered them separately. I have a Ryobi lithium set and the Makita seems to be slightly better quality. Don't get me wrong, I still like my Ryobi but the Makita lithium tools are well made.

Great after all tools work properly

I found this combo package at Home Depot 229. The only issue was the chuck on the drill wobbled so bad it wasn't usable. I returned it for another package and the second one had the same issue. I took it back a 3rd time and finally got drill that worked properly. The service department at HD was good to work with though. I haven't used the set much yet but it seems to be very solid. I also purchased a 6.5" circ saw for $83 and will be using the tools to build a work bench and shelves for my new garage. I'll update after really putting the tools to the test.
