Let me start by saying that I did not purchase this product thru Amazon or this vendor, but thought I should warn others about the quality (or lack there of) of this item. I have this same exact cordless screwdriver and it has been useless to say the least. I bought it brand new to use for small jobs such as working on computers and other related equiptment. For starters the battery dies after about 5 min. of light use activity. I have let it charger on the charger for over 24 hrs. at a time and this still does nothing to improve performance. I have varied the charge time from 3-5 hrs. up to 24 hrs. and it still only performs for about 5 min. before it goes completely dead. If the battery were to be detachable then I could purchase another 2 batteries to have on hand but this item does not have a removable battery pack. You have to plug it in to the AC charger which defeats the purpose of it being "cordless". The only redeaming quality about this package is the case and extra bits. I have a ratcheting screwdriver (no batery needed, this is old school elbow grease) w/more bits that fits nicely in the case. However the cordless screwdriver is still serving a purpose. It is now my door stop.
